**UPDATE 12/12/24** Twelve more days until Christmas Eve! Anyway, a new page, the Micro-Fiction Library, has been added, along with some new dragon cave adopts at Tatsuro's Petting Zoo!

..:ABOUT:..

Hello! I go by Emmy, but you probably better know me as mrszenigata! I am in a committed relationship with Inspector Koichi Zenigata of Lupin III fame. Yes, I am aware he's a fictional character, but I love him and view him as my husband. My relationship with him has encouraged me to work on and improve myself, develop new skills along with furthering old ones, and has helped me go through some of the hardest moments in my life. If you want more info on why I adore him so much, check out some of the pages listed on the "Bite-Sized Reads" section in Writing. You'll get the scoop there! I don't know where I stand in the sphere of fictional relationships, but I've grown to really like the term "yumejoshi" (e.i. "Dreaming girls" in Japanese). My imagination is the biggest force of inspiration regarding my relationship with him, so I think it fits pretty well!

This site is something of a passion project of mine and I have no idea where it's going to go. I've been wanting to make a database-of-sorts of content I have created featuring Koichi for a while. After going on a nostalgic binge of exploring old websites about other favorite media and topics, I stumbled upon neocities. I even discovered there are other people like me here! I was so amazed! Another reason why I wanted to create this site is because I've been looking for a slower, more personal internet experience. Social media can be fun and an excellent resource for inspiration, but it can also be very distracting and a shockingly huge source of negativity. I've also been trying to spend more time off of computers and screens, and I've found updating this site helps satisfy my screen time needs.

At this point you're probably thinking, this is great and all, but what is your life like outside of you and Koichi? That's a great question! I am in my mid-twenties, and I am currently a full-time college student. I love art and antiques -- I have a passion for late 20th century goods (with the 60s, 70s and 80s being my favorite decades) along with vintage fashion. Cute dresses and skirts are my go-to looks! I like to indulge in collecting stuff of my interests, particularly ceramic clowns and old movie magazines. I enjoy cult cinema as well. I also love to bake (I'm always looking for new ingredients to experiment with), watching travel videos/learning about cultures outside my own and going on nature walks. Gardening is also an interest of mine, but it's a new one! I also like to draw (both traditionally and digitally) and write, but I think you've picked up on that from exploring this site. ;)
